CAN WOMEN SHARE THE GOSPEL?

Someone commented on one of my social media post that I shouldn’t be sharing the gospel, because I’m a woman and I’m disobeying the Bible by doing so.

The truth is, I thought really hard about how to respond to this… I asked the Holy Spirit to help me respond in love. Let me start by saying - nothing created by God is without a purpose. Even a snowflake  has a purpose, He created every being with a purpose in mind- Jeremiah 1:5.

Sharing the gospel is not gender specific — “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” Mark‬ ‭16‬:‭15‬ … when Jesus spoke in Mark 16:17 He wasn’t referring to a specific gender, He said “These signs will accompany those who have believed: in my name they will cast out demons, they will speak in new tongues".

I think it’s opposes the Scriptures to say women shouldn’t share the Gospel. The Samaritan woman at the well in John 4:7 spread the gospel, like wildfire John 4:28-30, she just couldn’t contain her joy, in fact, Jesus stirred her up and she went about telling everyone about Jesus until they came to Him.

The Bible says “And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:” Joel‬ ‭2‬:‭28.‬ ‬‬

The Spirit of God is for all flesh, He didn’t say I’ll pour out my Spirit on men, He said sons and daughters. This right here is the qualifier, when the Spirit of God is upon you, you can’t be quiet about God, you tell about Him to everyone and anyone. 

The light of the Spirit of God cannot be hidden, it shines through everything and everyone who has Him... when you have light, you become a city on the hill that can't be hidden - Matthew 5:14. So women or men with God's Spirit cannot be hidden or shunned.

I'll end by saying this, we're all vessels of God, and He knows how to put everyone to good use. I pray for a renewal of mind and clarity of heart for everyone struggling to accept God has a purpose for every of His creation.

The qualification for sharing the Gospel is BELIEVING IN THE PERSON OF CHRIST not GENDER.
